Core funding for the Adult Learning Centres comes through the Workplace Preparation Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Colleges, Training and Universities.

The Centres are operated by the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library. Local needs are discussed at the Library Board’s Literacy Advisory Committee.

The Centres depend upon fundraising to augment its core funding. We would like to thank the individual volunteers and supporters for their care, concern and dedication. Your commitment of time and or dollars enables the program to continue. Thank you.

The Owen Sound Sun Times have been a longtime supporter of local literacy and upgrading efforts. They have provided computers for the Centres. They are the lead sponsor of our annual Scrabble® for Literacy Tournament.

This website was designed and developed with the help of an ALCOA Foundation grant. We appreciate their commitment to workplace literacy.

Two local bookstores have been longtime supporters of the Adult Learning Centres. The Ginger Press Bookstore and Brucedale Press have provided significant time, energy and resources to their local Adult Learning Centres. Thank you for your believing in our work.
