Honour Roll
Congratulations to Liz Rourke, Richard Thomas, David Pyke and Jane Ewasko. The four have been selected
to receive 2005 Volunteer Service Awards from the Government of Ontario. Liz
is being recognized for her 15 years volunteering with the Adult Learning Centre.
Richard has volunteered for 10 years and raised thousands of dollars in the Novel
Marathon for Literacy. David and Jane have both volunteered for the past five
years. Congratulations to our award winners. We appreciate your hard work and
dedication. Thank you!
Special thanks to Kath Thomson for her long time support of the program. It was Kath’s suggestion
which grew into the Scrabble® for Literacy Tournament.
