Thirty Hour Short Story Writing Weekend

Short Story Weekend Marathon announces the “Write” Date !!!

January 30 - 31, 2010

Each writer has from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until 3:00 p.m. Sunday to create a complete short story, working from only a one page outline. Writing tools vary from pencil to computer. Each of the writers seeks pledges on a per page or flat rate basis. Some writers have incorporating sponsors’ names as characters in their stories at premium pledge rates.

Over the past fifteen years, 37 different writers have created 87 short novels, made friends and raised thousands of dollars for the Adult Learning Centre.
