Working Independently

Some students are Independent. They work on materials assigned by program staff or outside agencies.

The Adult Learning Centres can assist students to order credit correspondence courses from the Independent Learning Centre (I.L.C.)

We can also assist students interested in studying for the G.E.D. The Adult Learning Centres offer pre-G.E.D. testing to help students assess if the G.E.D. is an appropriate route for them. If needed, we can then help them upgrade their math and English skills.
