Finishing High School by correspondence or the G.E.D

By working with you and your past school, we can help you choose the best way for you to finish high school. We can help you brush up on your skills so that you are ready for credit courses. Your local school board may have adult day or night classes. Other opportunities are also available through Georgian College.
Some students finish their credit requirements by ordering and completing correspondence courses through Ontario’s Independent Learning Centre. Some students do high school courses online through the Virtual Learning Centre.
For some students, the best way to finish is by studying for the G.E.D. test. It includes math, reading, writing, science and social studies. We can help you learn how to write the essay. We can help you improve your math skills. We can help you assess how much work you will need to do before you are ready to write the G.E.D.
The General Educational Development (GED) testing program lets adults show that they have knowledge and skills needed for high school completion. Successful GED candidates earn the Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate.
We can help you find the best way to finish.
